ABOUT THE EVENT
Join us for an afternoon exploring how brands can build more meaningful connections with parents through social media and storytelling.
We’ll unveil new original research commissioned by Favola into how parents are using social media, what they value from brands and the content that really resonates. We’ll then put the findings to a panel of leading brand marketers and creators to explore what they mean in practice – and what family brands should be doing differently.
MEET THE PANEL
Joining Vino Vethavanam, Head of Editorial at Favola, will be:
- Malcolm Carter - Digital & Marketing Director, The Entertainer
- Becky McKinlay - Brand Marketing Director, Big Potato Games
- Francis Haugen - Family Creator and one half of @stuartandfrancis (1.3mn TikTok followers)
- Sophia Littledale - Founder, Favola
Together, they’ll explore the research from both sides of the feed: how brands can create social content that earns parents’ attention and trust, and what authentic, memorable storytelling looks like from a parent and creator perspective.
WHY IT MATTERS
Parents have never had more content competing for their attention.
Between work, childcare, school runs and an endless stream of advice and information, social media has become a place to learn, connect, escape and unwind – but also another source of pressure and noise.
For brands trying to reach family audiences, simply showing up isn't enough.
The opportunity is to create something parents genuinely value: content that understands their lives, tells stories worth engaging with and builds connection beyond the individual post.
WHAT YOU'LL TAKE AWAY
- Fresh insight into how parents use social media and what earns their attention and trust
- Practical perspectives from brands and creators on what authentic engagement looks like
- Ideas for using storytelling to build stronger, longer-term connections with parents
